In time practice for the Teutschenthal MXGP, Liam Everts set the twelfth fastest lap time with a lap time of 1:52. In the qualifying race, after starting in the midfield, he worked his way steadily forward until, on lap seven, while lying in ninth place, he lost control of his bike in a deep groove and catapulted off his bike. Fortunately, Liam was able to ride back to the pitlane under his own power, but had to abandon the qualifying race.

The German junior rider, Maximilian Werner, who was competing for DIGA Procross KTM in the EMX125 for the second time this weekend, qualified eighth in his training group. The first race on Saturday afternoon was over before it had even started. After a good start in the top 10, Werner slipped away on a watered section on the approach to a jump and crashed over the handlebars. Fortunately, Maxi Werner remained mostly unhurt, but had to retire from the race.

In the second race on Sunday morning, Maxi Werner got off to a rocket start and finished the first seven laps in fourth place until he made a mistake and again affected his knee, which had already been damaged on Saturday. Nevertheless, Maxi Werner gritted his teeth, but was unfortunately pushed backwards lap by lap and finished the race in nineteenth place.

The next race for DIGA Procross KTM Racing will take place on 26 June in Samota-Sumbawa, Indonesia.
