DIGA Procross KTM Racing MXGP athlete Thomas Kjer Olsen laid the foundation for the great performance at the MXGP in Mantova with two good starts. In the first heat, Olsen managed to make up important positions in the first laps, where the field is very close, and finished it in sixth place. In the second heat, Olsen spent the entire race chasing the over third place finisher, but unfortunately did not get within striking distance to secure the heat podium. With sixth and fourth place finishes, Thomas Kjer Olsen takes sixth place in the day's standings and improves to sixth in the championship standings.

Thomas Kjer Olsen: "It was a very good weekend for me and my team, to be honest, better than expected. I felt comfortable all around the weekend, made not many mistakes and never had the feeling of going over the limit. I'm very happy that I could deliver my best qualifying on Saturday with fourth place and my best MXGP result on Sunday with sixth and fourth."

The 21-year-old German, Jeremy Sydow, who is starting for the injured Liam Everts, had to deal with bad luck in crashes on both Saturday and Sunday. In the first race Sydow finished 13th after starting in the middle of the field. In lap 5 of the second race Sydow crashed during his advance into the top ten and had to run behind the field. In the end, the Chemnitz-based rider finished 13th in heat two and 17th overall.

Jeremy Sydow: „Unfortunately, the results don't quite reflect my weekend. Nevertheless, I felt more comfortable on the bike from lap to lap, which my lap times also prove. We'll take the positives from the weekend and now focus on the next race in Argentina.“

Next up for DIGA Procross KTM Racing is the MXGP of Argentina. The overseas race at the stunning Patagonia track will take place on March 20.
