DIGA Procross KTM athlete Thomas Kjer Olsen put in a solid performance at the season opener at Matterley Basin
The start of the 2022 FIM Motocross World Championship season at Matterley Basin has been made. For DIGA Procross KTM Racing it was a weekend of ups and downs. Thomas Kjer Olsen performed well in the MXGP class with two top 10 finishes. Liam Everts, on the other hand, was dogged by bad luck and could not start on Sunday due to a crash and the resulting injury.

Thomas Kjer Olsen starts into his second season in the MXGP class. With a solid and consistent performance in both races, Olsen finished eighth in the first race and tenth in the second race. In the daily standings, Thomas Kjer Olsen thus finished in eighth place.
Thomas Kjer Olsen: "A very positive start to the MXGP season start for me and my team. I am glad that we have returned to the two-day format, so I was able to improve a bit from Saturday to Sunday and get two good results. I'm already looking forward to the next race in Mantova."
For DIGA Procross KTM Racing MX2 athlete Liam Everts, the start of his first full MX2 World Championship season was already over on Saturday afternoon. Due to a crash in the qualifying race and the resulting injury, it was not possible for Everts to start on race Sunday.
Already next weekend it goes on for the team DIGA Procross KTM Racing at the second stop of the FIM Motocross World Championship in Mantova.
