In the MX1 class, Thomas Kjer Olsen finished eighth in the first heat after being in fifth place until two laps from the end, but a small mistake forced him to drop three places. In the second heat, Thomas Kjer Olsen was in the leading group from the start and finished the race in second place. The Dane secured third place in the MX1 class standings for the day. In the Superfinal, TKO just missed the podium and crossed the finish line in fourth place.

Thomas Kjer Olsen: "All in all, it was a good day for me at Hawkstone Park. The track was challenging and a very good preparation under race conditions. Since Lacapelle Marival we have been able to improve some things, but there is still plenty work to do. I'm now looking forward to the start of the MXGP season next weekend."
